Pastry Chef

I grew up in Mexico in Zacatecas and came to the US in 1990 when I was 14 years old. I arrived in Big Sur and started working at Ventana Hotel and worked for a few years before moving to Post Ranch Inn to help in the back of house. I began doing pastries at Post Ranch and helping the chef. After 7 years I left to work at various locations around Monterey including the Highlands Inn and Pebble Beach before returning to Ventana as the Head Pastry Chef where I worked for 13 years. I am excited to be a part of a new restaurant in this area and start this journey with a great team!
